Customer Testimonials

We always appreciate feedback -
these are some of the great comments we have had about our service.

  1. ‘For me, technical expertise is only a part of the total fulfilment of automotive resolution. Equally important are foremost the people, followed by the workshop conditions and possibly most important -paramount customer care. If these four pre-requisites are the ones you have been striving to find, on the basis you may be lucky to normally only identify two – then look no further than Just Historic Cars at St Leonards-on-Sea in East Sussex. The workshop immediately inspires confidence with its clean but not sterile atmosphere and array of prestigious garage machinery; not to mention the clearly pampered vehicles being worked on. The three working directors patently have a passion for their work and their customers - and the whole event of a major service and diagnosis can only be described as an utterly fulfilling experience. Their customer ethos is second to none and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Unsurprisingly – I’ll be returning shortly for more of the same!’

  2. 'It's nice to find a local company which understands Classic cars. The guys there are very friendly and take a real interest in the cars they work on. They also keep you informed if they find anything wrong with the car aside from what it's booked in for. Great workshop too.'

  3. 'It was a delight to work with Melvin in relation to my 1963 Jaguar E-type. Having restored the car myself, I needed help with its commissioning and he was so helpful, making sure that I understood what needed to be done and obtaining my authority before undertaking any work. He took care of me and my car, allowing me to visit the workshop to see work in progress, and ensured that it was set up perfectly.'

  4. "I can't thank the team enough for restoring my first car, a 1963 Mini, from the sad wreck that had rotted in our garage for 35 years, back to original showroom condition. The car was meticulously stripped down. As much as possible was lovingly repaired, whilst the attention to detail in sourcing the correct replacement bits was incredible. We were encouraged to join the journey, and popped in most weeks to see progress. Everyone always had time to discuss the project with us. The first day I was able to drive my Mini again was amongst the happiest of my life, and she now takes us out on trips at least once a week. The (very, considering the car is hand built) few minor teething problems were ironed out immediately. I drive the car confident in the knowledge that the Just Historic Cars team will service her to keep her in tip top condition in the years to come. They can fix ANYTHING!
